Economic and psycho-social strengthening of vulnerable families in Zugdidi District
2017-2019
The project provided a range of essential services to its target group, including psychosocial support and economic empowerment for families.
The Family Strengthening Project aimed to support and empower 400 socially vulnerable children (aged 0–18) and 160 families living in Zugdidi Municipality (the city of Zugdidi and the village of Ingiri) over a three-year period.
In line with these goals, from 2017 to 2019, the project reached 405 children and their parents, offering direct assistance to 174 families.

Supporting the Development of Small Group Homes in Georgia
In 2013, with financial support from UNICEF (the United Nations Children’s Fund), a Mother and Child shelter service was established in Georgia. The purpose of the service is to provide temporary shelter and a range of support services to mothers (primarily young, single parents) and their children under the age of 10 who are at risk of family separation to strengthen their ability to function independently.
