Project “From Displacement to Inclusion: Supporting Ukrainian Families Through Early Learning, Psychosocial Support, and Community Integration”

The aim of the project “From Displacement to Inclusion: Supporting Ukrainian Families Through Early Learning, Psychosocial Support, and Community Integration” is to promote an inclusive early education environment, strengthen psychosocial resilience among refugee children and their caregivers, and enhance integration between Georgian and Ukrainian families. The project is expected to have approximately 235 direct and 130 indirect beneficiaries, including both Georgian families and children and families displaced from Ukraine.
The project is implemented in cooperation with the Tbilisi Kindergarten Management Agency and has a duration of 21 months (December 2025 – August 2027). It is funded by SOS Children’s Villages Worldwide (SOS-Kinderdörfer weltweit).

Supporting the Development of Small Group Homes in Georgia
In 2013, with financial support from UNICEF (the United Nations Children’s Fund), a Mother and Child shelter service was established in Georgia. The purpose of the service is to provide temporary shelter and a range of support services to mothers (primarily young, single parents) and their children under the age of 10 who are at risk of family separation to strengthen their ability to function independently.

VIBEs for Youth: Vision Building, Identity, Well-being, and Employability for Youth

With funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) & SOS Kinderdörfer weltweit, Hermann-Gmeiner-Fonds Deutschland e.V. a 38-month project titled “VIBEs for Youth: Vision Building, Identity, Well-being, and Employability for Youth” is underway (2022–2025). This project is implemented by SOS Children’s Villages organizations in Georgia, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan.
